Back to basics

Hi everyone, I recently graduated with a history and politics degree and consequently, I now work for a local authority here in England. I do a lot of work with data, mainly on excel, creating spreadsheets of analytics regarding local services, self updating graphs as new data is populated etc, that sort of thing. In school my maths was tragic, this had a significant Impact on my engineering apprenticeship, nevertheless I completed it. My job is great, I love it, I think I’m competent enough and that my maths is just at a high enough level. In the future I wish ti work for the civil service, though for their entry tests I must refine my maths again. Because of my awful grade in school I wish to revisit maths and genuinely grasp the theories. I really must have things broken down for them to sink in properly. I downloaded a few text books tonight as I wish to revisit algebra, can anymore recommend where to begin? Or could you perhaps recommend a good crash course? It’s been so long! Thank you
