Since a bit of this board is focused on education I reckon this is the best place to ask.
I live in Eastern Europe, and a Bachelor's takes 4 years here (240ECTS) and a Master's 1 year (60ECTS). I'd like to do my Masters in Computer Science at some good university in Europe, but apart from the UK I've seen all Master's programmes take 2 years (120ECTS), but the Bachelor's takes 3 years (180ECTS).
That means that I would effectively be losing a year, but since the amount of points at the end is still the same, is there any way to do the Master's in 1 year?
I've seen some universities in Germany offering 1 year Master's but they are mostly some random, non-prestigious universities. Anyone knows how this works?
