China wants to get everyone driving but they can't have everyone produce smog, so they're willing to put a foreign brand over domestics just to get everyone to switch over.
The Neo-liberals helped with EV adoption,but China would had been the catalyst in the long run. Only a racist would think that the USA would be able to have a bigger economy than nearly 1.5 billion people.
I hate the term "racist" but I can't find any other explanation for why the USA would continue to out perform china's massive population that's seeing massive living standard hikes.
Lab grown cell-culture meat is likely a generation away from gutting the feed lots. Once we can mass produce meat that's 6/10 in comparison to real meat then there's no way to really stop the momentum to stop cultured meat from taking over real meat.
