Systems are Turing complete, not processes. We can make a Turing complete system using DNA replication, but that doesn't mean DNA replication is Turing complete.

Computers are a biological phenomenon. They may not be directly integrated into our biology at a cellular level, but our behavior led to their creation. So, human behavior, given enough time, produces Turing complete systems.

Also you could say crystals and such are just natural computers visualizing patterns through Turing complete means
