My friend, who is doing way better than me in every way (better grades, good research and work experience, great recommendations) probably won't be accepted into grad school from the looks of it.
If he doesn't get in, there's no way in hell I'm getting in.
How do I cope /sci/? is there some other avenue to get into math research? I can't see myself being a wagecuck, am I just gonna be homeless?
