Hi, first time I post here. I come today to ask what and how what happened to me back in 2012 happened. A bit of story here for context

I used to work in an Indian restaurant as a busboy/server and before 2012 Christmas before my shift I got the flu, a bad one. Nose kept leaking, no energy, muscle pain, bags under eyes, a zombie.

I was going to tell my boss that I can't do my shift, looked at me noticed that I wasn't right and made me eat something. A large portion of Basmanti rice and the spiciest Vindaloo beef they ever made.

Within 2 minutes after finishing my meal, my nose felt weird, itchy, all of my snot came out, never breathe that easily and well in years, the flu's effect was gone totally, muscle pain gone, all of energy went back like I've done the greatest line of coke on human history and felt like I could have done a triathlon and young again

What the hell was that? How the hell is that possible?
