Anyone else interested in parasites? I'm an American biomedical science undergrad in my senior year and I want to dedicate my career to parasitology. Almost all of my peers with the same major are going to some sort of professional school and hardly anyone gives a fuck about parasites so I'm a bit spooked that my greatest passion isn't too viable. I'm doing research and have a paid internship under my professor. I want to be a wildlife and fisheries parasitologist. Are there any organizations or workplaces that hire parasite nerds?
