I have ADD and Asperger's Syndrome. I'm including Autism because I'm unsure if it's contributing to my issues. I thought sharing my struggles for focus would spark interest.
I cannot focus unless I have pressure against me. I make fists, lean my chest against chairs, cross my legs, gnaw, play white noise, and put pressure on my knees. It helps me identify where I am in my space. I hate being away from my computer chair because I lose my "prime positioning". This makes events such as meetings and driving harder. I underperform anything non computer related. It fuxing sux cox.
