Well the trend of us getting more and more efficient is clearly there, but are we getting more effective?
i dont think so. i also do not need fancy futurologists to explain me the basics.
some philosophers made giant predictions and they fully came true.
like sport will become more and more important, athletes will become new superstars, or predicting the rise of authoritarianism.
Predicting the future implies learning from the past and understanding the present.
but maybe i am making a giant strawman here, i just have this one futurologist in mind, he is such a dipshit. didnt care about learning the domain, because he was a well respected one.
hans selye predicted we would work less, be less stressed in the future, use technology to cause ourselves less stress and basically reduce the rate of aging this way.
