why do astrobiologists always assume aliens have to be cephalopods? why do they hate humanoids so much? surely in an infinite universe there must be more than one species to evolve a humanoid bodyplan. also does it violate the Copernicus Doctrine that humanity is not special by assuming humanity is the only species to have a humanoid bodyplan?
