Why are men so taken aback when females actively avoid them, considering the fact men have a propensity towards sexual violence?

Seeing as how people even on this board talk of wanting to sniff a woman's shoes, or worse yet (shudder) her panties, and given that males give hundreds of millions of dollars each year to women on onlyfans, can you blame women for being terrified of male attention?
And yet males are constantly whinning about the fact that women do not say thank you for holding the door open or smile back when a male says hello.

Is there a scientific explanation for being rational and yet irrational at the same time?
