Why do anything if everything will all end (eventually with heat death and all) if purpose and value are intertwined, and the value of an entity ceases once it ceases, and likewise, the respective system ceases, we should know then that only that which does not end has value and purpose. That which ends has a beginning, and the inverse, and either are valueless. If there is no beginning to that with value, and no end, it is timeless, and relative to the system, also space-less.
