Instead of teaching what the different philosophers thought he was cherry picking quote and stories to push this meta narrative that all philosophers think secular liberal democracy is the greatest thing ever.
I was actually blown away when I looked it up later and realized he stopped when the man crawls out of the cave and added his own happy ending to the story.
