Can mathematics tell us anything about consciousness? Awareness acts recursively. You are aware of your own awareness.

The self is the fixed point of the awareness function.

G(G) = aware(G(G))

we see that G(G) is the fixed point of the awareness function, so G(G) is the self

Awareness here is a global function, independent of the self, a universal mind, god's eye. And G(G)? It's like it initiated the ouroboros of awareness, awareness(awareness(awareness(...))) sucking its own dick but G(G), the self, is always out of reach.
