This is a little bit of a /out/ question, but do /sci/ anons grow plants for individual research?

If so, what do you grow, for what purpose, and what are your findings?

I knew a guy who went to college a guy who didn't like how CO2 ppm over 800 reduces your IQ temporarily and filled his apartment with houseplants. He measured the CO2 and the plants accomplished nothing.

Lot of plants aren't very effective at binding co2, it's better to just have good ventilation.
