Won't vaccinating people, especially if you don't vaccinate everyone at the same time, just make sure Covid develops mutations that make it less susceptible to the vaccine?
The pfizer vaccine has already been shown to be less effective in counteracting the South African strain. Taken that Covid has the genetic ability to mutate to counteract the efficteveness of vaccines, I imagine that vaccination will just naturally select against strains which are more affected by the vaccine.
