Sure. But then you need to transport the energy back to the surface somehow to use it. In doing so, you no longer have a superconductor, and will again lose energy. Only now you waste energy in transporting current to the surface.

Why would you use a superconductor for computations? That's like trying to use a hammer to press buttons on your video game controller. I guess it can kind of work, but it's so inefficient I don't know why you'd try that. And you'd probably break the controller anyway, assuming you got to do anything meaningful in the game anyway.

Superconductors utility is no magnetic field, meaning you can transport currents without losing energy to heat. I don't see how that would help you with computers.

Then why is microsoft, google, and facebook investing in underwater data centers and claim it's more economical than above water?
