A lot of modern physics is taken on faith. Other scientists already did the experiments and we are taught they are correct. I don't have a problem with this because doing all of that myself would take years.
I know that radio waves and microwaves and X-rays exist because I have witnessed if I do not own technology that works using them that behaves in the way my knowledge of science expects it to. But I don't have firsthand experience that they are part of the same phenomenon as visible light.
What experiment can I perform at home to show that they are all parts of light instead of each of them being a separate phenomenon?
