Certain mushrooms are good for you. Others will kill you.

There is no problem or endgame. They just want to reproduce.

They're pretty regular in shape and size, but the shapes are highly influenced by their environment.

I believe the part of the mushroom you see is the fruiting body that dispenses spores into the air. The actual fungi is this fibrous thing in the soil. They do vary a lot, some fungi produce giant while balls the size of soccer balls filled with spores.

No, majority of mushrooms are poisonous and parasitic, the ones that are used for food barely provide any nutrition. they are also a major contributor to asthma but unlike plants they don't provide any good in return
