I am an EE. I've written C for over 10 years. I wrote a 3D render using my own compiler. MATLAB is shit syntax because it tries to be it's own thing and fails spectacularly

Stop shilling and GTFO. /been using it over 7 years now, it is great for modelling (my field) and is also great for any engineer who is not interested in the intricacies or top performance of code and just needs to make a program that just works and does what it is supposed to without much effort.

Matlab has great syntax and its nice. C based, but typers are implicit, but workspace shows them to you.
Also its object oriented just like java and c++. its also matrix oriented.

You just cant work with computers.

Data scientists don't care about programming. They just use it when they're forced to in order to do the mathematics they're actually interested in. It's disgusting, but that's how they think.

I spent 3 hours trying to figure out how to plot a constant.
