I'm sure you've heard them rant about how "when I was your age I worked 2 jobs and took 6 college courses a semester and still made straight A's"

What about our society now makes this pretty much impossible? I barely have time for 3 classes because I'm stupid and need a lot of time to study.

Were classes easier back then? Was there less homework? Or is it that the way they were raised made it easier for them to retain information, thus making studying take less time?
