How do we deal with infinity ?
Simply - the absolute may be infinite but that still doesnt mean we know shit about how our little universe works behind the curtains - so no you cannot start going killing everyone willy nilly without the fear of consuquence.
Maybe gods are behind our universe, maybe its a simulation - a game for some aliens in another universe/dimension and still we must adhere to morality.
You can believe in infinity - meaning that you are both an theist, atheist, agnostic, spiritual at the same time - because everything goes - and still be a good person that brings value to the world by fighting entropy.
We have been fighting entropy since the beggining - us humans, and it seems that life wants us to evolve and progress and exist at all costs - so before we jump to conclusions - we can derive morality just from our instincts and history and biology and evolution - dont even need to delve deep into philosophy or religion to find out -
- yes the absolute is infinite but we are still stranded on this stupid rock and we still have room for improvement - if we fuck it up now then that would be just a great loss and a waste of this specifics universes time, wouldn't it now ?
I personally believe that the goal of life is to somehow stop the heat death of the universe - to send information to another realm or create a new universe or reverse the process.
