Is it possible to cheaply buy large numbers of outdated AgNO3 originally for photography? I want to extract silver from it and git gud. I have access to chemical lab so price of chemicals used for extraction isn't a problem.

yes, exactly. old stuff usually deteriorates (impurities from the material it was stored in etc.)

I have some sympathy for you wrt this thread. Silver salts do 'go bad'; we kept AgOBz in the glove box.
The silver content doesn't change, but the oxidation state does change.
If there's a problem with your idea, it's this: you can't possibly be the first person to think of this, given the longstanding existence of photography. You think Kodak hasn't paid for 'recycling' of past date reagents?

on a related subject, does anyone know how to coat something with silver without electric reduction? i remember doing something like this a long ago but i don't remember the details, first you needed to coat the object in another thing then you submerge it in a solution with some silver salt i don't remember

to cover from inside, you can just abuse Tollen's reagent to create a mirror, see e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plating#Silver_plating
or... well you can coat copper stuff if you submerge it in AgNO3, as long as it won't dissolve completely
