Why do so many people get completely boned by trigonometry? It's extremely fucking easy to understand conceptually and using it just requires memorization of identities and formulas.

When i was introduced to it we barely used the unit circle and most identities were kept away from the course material. We were instructed to punch the functions into our calculators and get the approximate (still are of course). It gives the sense that you're no longer doing the thinking.

Most people (including me) needs to study in order to solve trigonometry.

I've only ever read this shit from Americans, the same low iq golems who get filtered by basic geography and history, speaking a foreign language, orthography and grammar in their own language, and have some absurd "science" class for a couple years in school - instead of separate biology, physics and chemistry classes in years 7-12 like normal people

I guess I expressed myself in a bad way, sorry.
I'm a CE major. I just need enough to solve basic physics questions. I used to love phys and can see how to solve questions easily, I just make other people/apps to do tha math for me.

I also know that physics majors use math more than math majors. Yes.

I don't think it's an actually a "everyone is retarded" problem, but that most people don't genuinely try to learn math. They just see it, assume it's too difficult for them and give up.
The problem is math has a reputation for being extremely hard and people are too retarded to think otherwise and don't even try
