Also, relatively recent human history have been a patriarchy, Thus a lot of the section would be done by the father on behalf of the daughter, and the Man would need to get approval from the father to get married. So a lot of traits in men are selected by the father (and to a lesser extent, mother) of daughters.
Humans aren't as sexually selected as much as people think, because Fathers aren't going to sexually select on behalf of their daughter (because he aint the one having sex with the bloke). Humans are much more likely to be socially selected, selecting for traits like even height still, intelligence and prosocial personality features. The lack of patriarchy may lend itself to weakened pressure for these traits, selection for IQ already has been reversed ect.
side note, sexual selection and social selection may be functions of each other, and aren't mutually exclusive.
