Recently I’ve started to realize the horrific tedium of life is the fault of the useful idiot witless “hard workers” who set what later becomes expectation. I always had a suspicion that people with “work ethic” aren’t actually respectable and the notion that they are conveniently benefits businesspeople, but this realization made me actively look down on them.
