The best I can tell you is that its hard if not impossible to OD on alprazolam and the rebound is very severe. I would advise just trying a low dose because it can act as a mood lift in some people to help you get out of bed or life is just total shit.

There should be some free resources out there I think it’s weight based dosing if it’s not 0.5 per day it’s 0.25 which is half that tablet but 0.25 is the smallest they come pretty much

It's surprisingly hard to OD on pills. This is coming from someone who's father's "dog" tried to OD on oxy. There's nothing I could say on Xanax poisoning that a simple google search couldn't provide. I can only hope that your "dog's" suffering one day comes to an end, and it finds the sleep it so deeply desires.

The LD50 of Xanax is in the gram range, ngmi. Benzos, opioids + antiemetics is what you are looking for.
