>>12655893>my perception is that cs is very easy compared to mathsit literally depends on what you want out of it. if you're doing it on the side to get some technical knowledge, it's pretty stupid easy. If you actually want to contribute to novel research, engineering problems, scientific research, new major theorems, etc., it's as hard as any mathematical STEM field.
Hell, I think there are *as many* DSP problems in CS as there are in traditional EE these days, given how much speech recognition, computer vision, compression, scientific computing, audio mixing, etc etc. are part of popular CS research these days.
