Humans are disgusted and offended by a lot of things, most often those responses are on a subconscious or semi-conscious level. They exhibit disgust responses to
homosexual acts, visibly disfigured people, different race, people breaking or not abiding to social norms (the mentally ill) etc. It's known that this subconscious, not controllable disgust response is present in all humans. So why would leftists support homosexuality etc. if they are actually disgusted by it. It's a means to an end.
