why is it that human energetics - that is the hydrolysis of ATP for muscular contractions - so inefficient in that so little of the energy within the ATP is used for actual motion with most being released as heat?
Take these women for example. Very little of the energy stored within their ATP is being used for their hip thrusting with much of it being released into the atmosphere as heat making them all sweaty and gross.
