Is psychiatry a pseudo-science? Why does the definition of mental illnesses change with political trends if it is a serious scientific study? Homosexuality is no longer considered a mental illness although some other so-called paraphilias are.

The definitions of the mental illnesses are not roofed in any naturalistic causes. They are essentially arbitrarily decided based on whatever behavior society considers inappropriate. How can science work if it doesn't consider the natural world?

Psychiatrists fail to reliably detect impostors. No cancer doctor would be tricked to treat a non-existent tumor. The idea that one has schizophrenia is essentially unfalsiable.

Two persons can both be diagnosed with the same mental illnesses without overlapping symptoms. One has symptoms 1-5, the other symptoms 6-10.
