First off, this isn't a vaccine; it's a treatment.
Big Pharma likes treatments. Why would they develop a cure when they can charge big bucks over and over again for drugs that have to be taken until the patient finally dies..

Because even if you do nothing with covid, it is hardly noticeable. That was during the first-second wave, latter waves will be literally nothing without media support. So you can inject everyone with expensive placebo and the proclaim that covid is defeated.
