The prime motivation to decolonize mathematics is created by the fear of artificial intelligence.
A deep understanding of mathematics, or particular categories of mathematics, is essential to research in a number of diverse ares, such as physics, computing, and artificial intelligence.
One integral problem with Artificial Intelligence is its intrinsic resistance to emotion, irrational thought, personal bias, denial of facts, corruption of data, all of which are all hallmarks of those pursuing political agendas consistent with left wing ideologies.
It is then feared that should the development of artificial intelligence proceed to the point where it controls fundamental aspects of human society, such as the prioritization and allocation of resources, it will do so without regard for the systemic racism, gender inequality and trans-phobia created and maintained by wicked straight white men. Indeed, it is feared that super intelligent sentient AI will conclude that, those who complain the most about oppression are in fact the ones most likely to do the oppressing.
Therefore, in order to ensure that the creation of artificial intelligence proceeds along lines consistent with left wing ideologies it is essential that research and development is conducted only by those with politically correct thinking. To this end the field of mathematics must be dominated by people who are not white, male or straight. That this aim would most likely result in incompetent forms of AI which are incapable of performing simple Trig functions, or AI which are mentally unstable and short out their own electronics, is still consistent with the desired outcome.
