It's pretty good as a refresher. Though for a first rigorous sweep through precalculus, I recommend Gelfand or Lang. I learned proofs from Lang btw, and I supplemented some exercises from Gelfand.

Apostol is better imo since it has applications which Spivak lacks, although desu I only used it as a supplement to Tao's Analysis books. Spivak is well written though.,
