Someone on /v/ posted that elephants and other large mammals have multiple copies of tumor suppressor genes, which makes them highly resistant to cancer.
Could we copy P53 in humans as well in a way to make next generations more resistant to cancer (which is what happened in elephants) or would it be dangerous?
