Is it a bad idea to defer from/postpone applying for my bachelor's for a year to take an opportunity to make money and travel while school's are still closed? I'm graduating with my associate's in engineering this semester but I'm very hesitant to go on to university if it means sitting in a dorm all day doing fuck all while every building on campus is closed. My only reservation is I'm getting my associate's now from community college with a great resume and grades at age 18 and I was hoping to be squared away with school as soon as possible. I don't want to prolong the experience, but I think if anything now is the time to.
any of you guys deferred from uni? what were your experiences/reasons? is it worth it?
