Chronic pain is a meme. It's a staple of the weakness and entitlement present in American culture. The Fibromyalgia hoax is a great example. Just lift weights and your body will be fine

All they do is coming up with another fucking pill. The government should support stem cell research and gene therapy that could offer real cures

Severing or lesioning the nerve (gamma knife, etc) doesn't always work, and sometimes the pain comes back. There is also the risk of damaging motor fibers.
