>>12631613Im Indian. The reason why Indians show off with this shit is because they view it as a competition, when there really isn't one many times. Especially at western universities kids just want to get their degree and aren't really interested in the material.
I do it, too. And yes, I have had the wrong answer many times, too. It really doesn't matter in the big picture. However if you compete with others you get much better at what you do compared to somebody who doesn't give a shit.
It also creates a better atmosphere for the teachers.
