>>12632699Nah, for controls you normally care about Laplace or Z b/c you're trying to stabilize your output. That is, your output is unstable at first, and so the FT wouldn't exist at all. Laplace / Z transforms are mostly just generalizations of FTs anyways so a bunch of the concepts and ideas are interchangeable, though the dualities aren't all the same.
