One of my college teacher told us that the field of sensor and electronic instrumentation has to be fully explored yet and has a lot of potential. He also told us that some very clerever people in the fields of electronics expect a revolution of the sensor technology around 2030, althought I've never read about it yet. But if that were true it wouldnt be suprising to see very small and precise Hall's sensors (it is used to measure magnetic fields using Hall's effect) that could be put inside your brain. That could be a first step into doing a brainchip.
