I teach at a high school and I'm a dean as well. The kids at my school are quite bad behaved, but when you get to know them they are pretty cool, and quite funny. It can be an incredibly fun job.
My advice would be to focus more on building relationships than stressing about curriculum, at least when you start out. You have a much bigger impact on the kids lives by being a good role model and cool older person to look up to then by teaching them high school math...
If you think you can do this and you are good with people and laid back enough to handle a class of teenagers then DO IT. You could not find a more intrinsically rewarding career. If this might be a struggle for you, or you extremely socially awkward or uptight or whatever then don't. I've seen a few young male math teachers come through that just couldn't vibe with the kids or relate to them, or the kids just thought they were losers, and they had a very tough time of it.
