>>12614530>theftpoincare did not attempt to patent sr (because you can't) and the other three were definitely his own, which should lend credit to his work on sr. further proof was that poincare thought Einstein's version if sr was wrong because it was top down, and his (poincares) version was incomplete. also sr was radical and not accepted for at least a decade. he didn't get any fame initially for sr, he got it from his other works, one of which is arguably just as important as sr. both poincare and Einstein were seen as wackos (in regards to sr), even by Lorentz himself, who later attributed sr to Einstein, even though initially sr was known as Lorentz-Einstein-Theory. also gr is a great proof that Einstein came up with sr (not to say he didn't build on other people's work, just that he got the last piece to make it a working theory).
