How do you know you had parents, or a childhood? You might think you will make the external world tell you the truth, you will find evidence. But by what will you prove it is meaningful? You must use the mind, memory, and the senses for this. You cannot prove the mind and the senses without using they themselves, and hence, circular.
Basically you could walk into a room, and if something made even a small tweak in your working memory, all behavior which follows would be altered and you would never know why you actually did what you did (confabulation). Etc.
