As a strong believer in opensource software and being a complete "noob" in terms of medicine and vaccines, I am curious to what extent are CoViD-19 vaccines open and free to use, modify and develop. Can you show me some examples of other types of vaccines that are known to be fully open(source)?

I think that it would be very useful if companies and institutes and universities could develop and share knowledge together, without intellectual property restrictions.

As a starter question, would it be possible to view and distribute and commercially use Pfeiser's mRNA nucleotide chain?
