If you were gay and lived somewhere you'd be burned at the stake for being gay, you wouldn't let others know you're gay by making threads. But if that place became more homo-friendly, you might openly say you're gay. It appears to normies that more people are becoming gay, or that there are more gays now. But in actuality, that's an illusion due to the base-line assumption that everyone is straight, goes away as people like OP make threads.
