I'm a physics and math major currently specializing in computational physics and researching quantum molecular dynamics. I would love to spend all day making simulations that answer interesting questions and taking shots at different open problems in mathematics, but this doesn't exactly loaves-and-fishes my life into something that can support me and hopefully a family one day. I want to use my technical skills to make a good amount of money for a stable life, then spend the rest of my time doing the math and physics I really love. What good ways can I use my skills to make passive income? Are there quantitative finance endeavors that are worthwhile for a one man band?
