I usually detox the following day, I find I dont get super physically hungover for more than an hour or two after waking up at most, but ill be in a moody mental fog for days if I dont make an effort to detox. I usually start as soon as im done drinking with a big well rounded meal, multi vitamin and fish oil, lots of water and green tea before bed. Try not to eat until dinner the next day and just keep myself full of water and coffee and really flush my system out. That following dinner once I finally eat is going to be something hearty and healthy. Feel like a zillion bucks the next day, I think my body goes into detox mode and takes much more with it than just the alcohol after this ritual. I want to keep this up and get back to exercising, adding in intense sweat-oriented cardio after a night of binge drinking and see how dramatic of an effect I can cause. It feels pretty good making myself go from being blackout drunk, to feeling like shit, to feeling 100 times better than I did even before I drank. Gives me more of a sense of control over my state of being.
