I think it would be a lot easier with something more massive, like a black hole. I think(?) you can gain energy from a spinning black hole if you sacrifice bits of matter into it.

We already do. Rockets that launch with the rotation of the planet use some of that momentum to reduce the amount of fuel they need to reach orbit.

Yes. Orbital Ring which rotates around earth, put a so called “sky hook” on there, also called space elevator, and put some god damn solar panels up there. More sun, low temperature means higher efficiency almost means free energy
