>>12603036It's funny how Japan's presence as a historical minority in the region (relative to China) distinctly imprinted on them in East Asia. Even modern Japanese was developed from Chinese, you would think the two groups are practically indistinguishable, but they're not. To the point where Japan is practically the only instance of pre-modern colonialism outside of the west, China moved on to communism like Russia.
