Black holes are most likely time dialated implosions. From the standpoint of somone falling into one, an immortal observer, the outside universe would blueshift and the BH Era would appear to come and go in the blink of an eye.
Nothing ever crosses the EH, it is simply collected in an ultra thin, ultra dense shell at the EH, dialated to the point of being essentially frozen, redshifted to near blackness, hence the angular energy being located at the edge.

Ther is no singularity, as most would agree. It is curious however, how so many people claim that thats what GR predicts, without factoring in nearly infinite time dialation at the horizon.
